A Very Important Lesson for Divorce Prediction
A professional astrologer should not predict divorce simply because:
- Mars is in the 7th house,
- Venus is afflicted,
- Rahu is operating,
- Saturn influences marriage, or
- a particular Mahadasha is running.
Instead, several indicators should converge.
For example:
1. Birth chart:
7th house and 7th lord should show some vulnerability.
2. Marriage significator:
Venus should be examined for strength, affliction and association.
3. Mahadasha:
The running Mahadasha should activate marriage, separation or relationship-related houses.
4. Antardasha:
The Antardasha often gives the more specific timing of the event.
5. Transit:
Major transits of Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu/Ketu and sometimes Mars should be checked against the 7th house, 7th lord and relevant planets.
6. Navamsa (D9):
The Navamsa should be examined to understand the deeper strength and condition of marriage.
